Tribal Worldwide Lays the Foundation for a New Partnership With Habitat for Humanity Canada

Tribal’s human-driven approach to experience design wins website redesign assignment

Tribal Worldwide Canada welcomes a new client to its roster, Habitat for Humanity Canada, a national, non-profit organization, which brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership. As Habitat for Humanity Canada’s creative and technical partner, Tribal Worldwide is charged with consolidating the company’s online properties into one holistic website.

“We are modernizing how we operate across our various departments and among our local Habitat for Humanity organizations across Canada to drive deeper engagement in our mission with donors, partners and volunteers,” says Meghan Reddick, Vice President, Brand Strategy and Communications. “We knew we needed to find an agency that could really help bring our complex organizational structure and multi-faceted programs together into one website experience. Tribal Worldwide’s human-driven and user-centric approach to website development stood out for us among their competitors, not to mention their passion for our cause.”

Tribal Worldwide Canada was awarded the digital strategy, design and development assignment following a competitive pitch process involving a handful of other agencies earlier this spring. The site is being designed, built and tested with the cross-disciplinary agency team in an agile-inspired workflow, which will apply key learnings from real user validation, as well as input from Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers to help create a highly usable experience. The new site is on track to launch by the end of this year.

“Habitat for Humanity does such inspiring work and is a great fit with Tribal from a cultural standpoint,” says Paul Tedesco, managing director Tribal Worldwide Canada. “The national organization seeks not only financial donations, sponsorships and Habitat Global Village volunteers, but also needs to drive people to their local Habitat organization to apply for a Habitat home or to shop at a local Habitat ReStore – and as such requires a web experience to do double duty. This presents a unique challenge the team is excited to take on.”
